Santa Clara, San Mateo counties halt use of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine

A rare side effect from the one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine has caused health leaders in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties to pause its administration, they announced on Tuesday.

It is absolutely criminal that they are doing this. It will cause the deaths of thousands of people. Not to mention, it will sow distrust in ALL vaccines, leading to less vaccinations, slower herd immunity, and more deaths as well!

The non-fatal blood clots in J&J occurred in 1 in one MILLION people.
Blood clots are an *accepted* risk factor for birth control pills, and occur in 1 in one THOUSAND.

@A Talking Cat, completely agree with you! The number of people losing complete trust in our vaccines, not getting vaccinated and then getting COVID and maybe die, will be a lot more. Our herd immunity is in jeopardy. The back and forth especially in this case is harming the overall cause. I have blood clot experience through my husband, I know what it means to have one! He is fine and takes blood thinning medication. It is not a death sentence. Web Link
