This is what happens when we let economists decide how to manage a public health crisis.

Shame on City of Mountain View for exposing our children to this deadly disease. Money-grubbers.

According to the official dashboard, the numbers for the MVWSD are flipped. It should say 23 staff and 33 students.

Give parents the option to keep kids at home if they wish. That will mean less students on campus that can be better spaced (students of essential workers and others who need to have children on campus, plus students of parents who feel that worth the trade off to have their child likely get what will probably be no more than a bad cold so they can learn in person etc). I know this is milder and chances are slim but I'm sure a lot of teacher's and students and their households would rather not get even a bad cold (worth waiting until can get more teenagers boosted as 12 - 15 yrs only just allowed to and 17-18 yr olds only recently) and there is the risk of spreading to more vulnerable.
