The Pinewood girls basketball season has turned into the Elle Ladine show. One superlative performance after another. Saturday, the senior scored 36 points, 23 rebounds and five assists in a 58-43 non-league win over San Leandro.

Re Elle Ladine dominating performances for Pinewood: I'd be a lot more impressed if the number of assists by Ladine rivaled the number of her points and rebounds, so that her teammates could get a chance to shine, too. C'mon, coach, are "so many easy baskets" really the highest priority here?
