Not surprised but still disappointed to see Valley Water trying to claw back 6M in excess taxes it had just agreed to return to Mountain View.
Valley Water is so flushed with money (pardon the pun) , it decided to put Measure A on the June ballot at a cost of 3.2M dollars. Sole practical purpose of that measure: allowing one termed out board director to extend his 26 years tenure ....by another 4 year term.

It is wonderful to hear news of MV's efforts to "increase" the amount of water available to our city, especially during times of droughts. This kind of news makes me much more open to increased density. Not to say that "I'm there" yet, but it's nice to see action by the city on this topic.

Also, kudos to you, Kevin Forestieri. I am a huge fan of your reporting. Your stories are just the kind of stories that I want to read. And your coverage of complex topics is thorough and informative, I'm very impressed.
