New mental health beds could be ready starting next month in Santa Clara County

Long wait times, staffing shortages and other issues at county-run behavioral treatment centers have led the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors to initiate more oversight regarding developments in expanding mental health services.

Oh - new acute care need places for minors is ... 2 years out!
That does really not seem like 'moving it'. More like dragging it!
"An adolescent psychiatric facility is also in the works. The new facility, to be located on South Bascom Avenue, will add 77 inpatient beds for varying levels of need. Occupancy is expected by October 2024." October 2022 to October 2024 is 24 months = 2 years.
