Buried car in Atherton: Onsite investigation complete, still no human remains found

Police say the on-site investigation of a car buried in an Atherton backyard is done, with the vehicle excavated and taken to a crime lab on Saturday. No human remains were found, despite cadaver dogs signaling there could be some.

Could the car have been used to transport the body to some watery place and weighted down with cement? --Which left a smell that triggered the dog's response?
