Seems like it would be really good for the city to reprioritize their expenditures to ensure that residents have safe and good quality roads. During Covid, since there were no children in schools, there should have been a surplus of money that could have been spent on repair. Did it?

Perhaps a coincidence the condition of Bay Area roads was addressed today in the Voice. I just emailed a few Mountain View Council members this week about this same issue about our city streets which are in need of maintenance like repairs and/or repaving. This article does not mention Mountain View so I am hoping the City will address this soon. It's like driving a "covered wagon" throughout Mountain View. Our tax bills we voted for from a few years ago was to maintain our roads. Mountain View is falling behind.

I looked up the MTC report. Mountain View has a "Fair" rating. The numbers are 73 in 2019, 73 in 2020 and 68 in 2022, averaging to 71.
