Convicted Theranos executive Sunny Balwani sentenced to nearly 13 years in prison

A federal judge on Wednesday sentenced former Theranos president and chief operating officer Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani to a prison term of 12 years and 11 months, followed by three years of supervised release.

Pleased with the Balwani sentence. Like Elizabeth Holmes, Sunny is a despicable creature. The way Balwani, Holmes, and Theranos attorneys treated Tyler Schultz, Erica Cheung, and others is unforgivable.

Just an Observation,

Interesting that he was convicted of more crimes and yet only got no more than 2 more years in prison. That means the court saw very little differences between Holes and him.

I wish that all fraudsters in business would have been treated this way, especially the ones responsible for the great recession.
