Is the Peninsula's real estate market on the road to recovery?

After a drop in sales activity at the end of 2022, homebuyers made a comeback early this spring. Whether the market will remain on track for a healthy recovery, however, remains unclear following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.

I don't think housing prices going up constitutes a "recovery" to me! Housing is a zero-sum game here, and to those of us stuck with renting, a "recovery" is when prices go down, not up.
