California gun laws have done NOTHING but infringe upon the rights of law abiding citizens. Period. End of discussion.

We are facing a mental health crisis, but all the left can say is, “derp… Reagan closed all the mental hospitals”.

Well, fifty years on, the single party government in California has does NOTHING to rectify this.

I understand that you have concerns about the impact of California's gun control laws on the rights of law-abiding citizens. However, I must point out that California has the lowest firearm deaths per capita in the region, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our gun control laws compared to the loose gun laws of our neighboring states. Our state's laws have saved countless lives and have helped to reduce the number of gun-related incidents.

As for your concerns about mental health, it is true that mental health is a critical issue that needs attention. However, it is not accurate to suggest that our state has done nothing to address this issue. California has been at the forefront of mental health treatment and has made significant investments in mental health programs and services. In fact, our state's mental health system is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and effective in the nation.

While we can always do more to improve mental health services and support, we should not ignore the fact that our state's gun control laws have played a critical role in reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by firearms. It is essential that we continue to support and strengthen these laws to keep our communities safe.
