Mountain View looks to bring back gatekeeper projects, with an eye towards streamlining approval process

The city of Mountain View is looking to clean up its process for so-called gatekeeper projects, where developers propose projects out of sync with existing zoning and require changes to the general plan.

JAFO is a registered user.

What about many apartments that are operating in non conforming lands?

184 Centre Street is in a R3-1 zone, but is a R4 type building.
