It should have a bodega (small market) on the first floor so residents don't have to drive to get basic necessities. Similarly, if all units don't have washer/dryer hookups, then there should be a laundromat included in the plan.

268 units in an otherwise industrial area isn't enough to support any kind of retail.

This site is an easy walk to Landels school. 0.4 mi, 6 min.
This area, in the MVWSD Landels elementary school attendance zone, starts to bring up the idea of the MVWSD BUILDING OUT on the land that it has a permanent public easement to, in Sylvan Park. That land (4 AC about where the Sylvan parking lot is) can only be used for a school by MVWSD.
Landels as a 450 permanent-sized school, might start to become overcrowded, especially since the attendance zone was gerrymandered to stretch 3 miles East-West! 1.5 mi, 34 min from block adjoining Castro school. Hope Trustee Lambert - can get 2 other Trustees to see - no need for 4 AC more at Shoreline - when MVWSD Already Has Clear Legal Right to build a school adjoining a very large public park. East of Landels/ when needed.
The Sylvan Park school easement, precedes the Shoreline District by about a decade. A Vargas size chunk-of-RESERVED-school land is a horrible thing to waste!
