Winter's 13th Spare the Air alert issued

Weather conditions forecast for Wednesday are expected to create unhealthy air quality in the Bay Area, and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued the region's 13th Winter Spare the Air Alert of the season.

Since "winter" officially began on the winter solstice (December 21?) that means more than half the days of winter so far have been Spare the Air days. That's more impressive to me than "13".
