This " ramming down the throat " of a future " bicycle based economical base " is one of the reasons I left the SFBA and M.V. in the first place.
If you want to behave like the old Soviet Union and put up those Soviet Bloc type buildings, just remember you have to have the VTA GO EVERYWHERE in Mountain View! While you are at it, how about sponsoring a TRABANT dealership with recycled paper cars!
Or would people running M.V. like to be called " Boulder West " ?
They have the same amount of silliness there as well.

I like the imagery evoked by your label "Soviet Bloc type buildings"!
It really captures what I see every time I drive by the new construction at San Antonio Plaza.
Any chance a council member will actually live in one?
Jim Neal has it right. Only I would move part of the Berlin wall into the council chambers.
