Schools warn of looming job cuts

Administrators of both Mountain View school districts say that under Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's most recent budget proposal, they will have to cut staff to compensate for the millions in lost funding.

I suppose there will be another ballot measure coming.crying broke and are property values will go down if we don't fund education.this thing will never sunset.

I bet not on PACT class is affected by "cuts".

Post it Pad, when it comes time for classrooms to feel cuts, PACT will feel them the same as everyone else. And people should really get off the "funding a special school" thing. Say they don't renovate a building for PACT -- and Castro stays overcrowded, and they STILL have to make whatever cuts they are considering, because the state in all its wisdom won't let the school spend the money sitting in the building fund on salaries, or music, or textbooks, or anything but buildings. Yes, that will be much better for the kids.
