Eshoo votes to defund NSA phone program

U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Menlo Park, voted Wednesday in favor of an amendment to a defense spending bill that would require the National Security Agency to limit its information-gathering to subjects of national security investigations, rather than all Americans. The amendment failed by a close vote.

It's interesting to see who voted in favor and against this bill.

Of course the President was never going to sign it. I think some of those who voted against it knew that and cast a safe vote. But that's the skeptic in me typing.

What's really amazing is for all the complaining Democrats did when George Bush was President they sure haven't done much to undo any of the programs Bush started that we all thought were so evil.

In fact some of those programs have been augmented under Obama's watch.

Eshoo has spent a life time writing invasive rules and regulation for the Federal government to oversee and run our lives. Now she decided to back off a bit.
