Beginning Sept. 28, the offices and staff of the Mountain View Voice will move to a larger, newly completed building at 450 Cambridge Ave. in Palo Alto.
The move to the three-story building will bring together the staffs of the Voice, the Palo Alto Weekly and The Almanac under one roof. Owned and built by the Voice’s parent company, Embarcadero Media, the new building boasts energy-efficient and other environmental features that will make it among the “greenest” buildings in the area. It will also meet the requirements for a national LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) “Gold” designation.
The new Cambridge Avenue office is located one block north of California Avenue and one block east of El Camino Real.
The Voice offices at 655 W. Evelyn Ave. will close Sept. 25, but phone numbers and e-mail addresses will not change.
Otherwise, publisher Tom Gibboney said, all Voice activities will remain the same, including the newspaper’s award-winning news coverage of the community. Advertising sales representatives Anna Mirsky, Dianna Prather and Rosemary Lewkowitz will continue to call on clients in the city as before.
Visitors to the new Voice office are welcome Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
