Salsa band Rumbaché will take the stage on Sept. 1 at The Village at San Antonio Center as part of the Live Music on First Thursdays series.
Led by Grammy Award-winning frontman Omar Ledezma, Jr., Rumbaché draws on genres from salsa, bomba and timba to funk to craft its unique sound. The band’s repertoire includes classic Cuban and salsa music, as well as original songs. They recently appeared at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest.
The concert takes place at The Village’s Hetch Hetchy Park. Grass seating is available and listeners can bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets and can grab a bite to-go at The Village restaurants.
The event is free, but registration on the event page is encouraged.
