Angela Swartz
Editor, The Almanac
Angela Swartz was The Almanac's editor from 2023 until 2025. She joined The Almanac as a reporter in 2018. She previously reported on youth and education, and the towns of Atherton, Portola Valley and Woodside for The Almanac. Angela, who grew up in San Mateo, previously reported for the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Mateo Daily Journal. She holds a master's degree in investigative reporting from American University. She interned at The Washington Post while completing her master's. She also holds a bachelor's degree in U.S. history and Spanish from University of California, Davis.
