Clay Lambert

Clay Lambert has editorial oversight of the Palo Alto Weekly, Menlo Park Almanac, Mountain View Voice and the Redwood City Pulse. He brings decades of experience to the job and is a longtime peninsula resident.
Before coming to Embarcadero, Clay was editor and publisher of the Coastside News Group, which produces the Half Moon Bay Review and Pacifica Tribune. In 2010 he was named the national small weekly Editor of the Year by the Suburban Newspaper Association. He has covered government and sports as well as serving as a columnist for regional daily newspapers in Georgia and Florida.
Clay has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Colorado State University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. He is a member of the university’s Media Hall of Fame and there is an endowed scholarship in his name given annually to the editor of the student newspaper.
