Après Village – Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley

Embarcadero St and Waterbar – San Francisco
San Francisco’s Ferry Building is filled with fun holiday events and sparkling lights. Check their website for wine tastings, holiday markets, craft making and live music. Take a short walk over to the gorgeous bay-side restaurant, Waterbar for seasonal cocktails like Smashing Pumpkin (with tamarind, tequila and allspice dram), or table-side specialties like the 1.5 lb Maine Lobster Pot Pie, and warm Apple Crisps with alluring Camembert Ice Cream. What a view – with sparkling lights too! Make reservations for New Years Eve dinner and include a walk along the Embarcadero.


San Jose Christmas in the Park and Nosh at Signia by Hilton
San Jose is sparkling! Enjoy an evening in the tree-and-decoration-filled Plaza de Cesar Chavez. For over 44 years, this whimsical walk-thru event becomes a holiday fantasy with over 40 musical and animated exhibits, glittering lights and the 50-foot Community Giving Tree. The weekend after Thanksgiving was hopping! Take a breather from the action at Signia by Hilton’s Aji Bar all decorated and pretty with festive holiday cocktails like Jingle All The Way and Whiskey Wonderland. The bar menu offers a quick bites like Tempura Basket, and Bao Buns. Christmas Day brunch buffet is also on the menu, or party away New Years Eve with a place to stay and Latin jazz by icon Pete Escovedo. Dec 5 – 7: Winter Festival at Gamble Garden

Dec 7: Holiday Celebration at Springline

Springline Menlo Park hosts its 3rd annual Winter Wonderland Holiday, featuring a real snow playground, ornament crafting and photos with Santa!
· Two holiday movie showings in a temperature-controlled tent: 4:30PM-The Grinch (2000). 7:00PM- The Santa Clause
· Live music by McClary Music, entertainment by DJ TwinSpin, performances by Earth Circus and Catalyst Arts
· Food and drink by il Mercato di Che Fico, Mi Comedor, Barebottle Brewing Company and Anydtown Coffee.
Dec 7: 25th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting – City of Sunnyvale
5 – 7:30 p.m: location adjacent to the development with lively performances from Dance Attack!, merry tunes from the Sunnyvale School District choirs, and a special visit from Santa! More details can be found here.

Dec. 8: Holiday Market Sunnyvale
10 a.m. – 4 p.m
Enjoy an open air holiday market featuring local artisans for jewelry, art, and home decor. Live seasonal music. More details found here.

Dec 10 – Holiday Hero’s – Oracle Park, San Francisco
Enjoy an array of festive holiday activities, get a chance to swing in the Giants batting cages, throw a pitch in the bullpen, run the bases, take pictures with their favorite heroes and more. Celebrity Heroes include three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings, 49er alum and Football Hall of Famer Patrick Willis, SF Giants alum Hunter Pence and Alexis Pence, and more to be announced.
Funds raised support bringing underserved children from Play Marin, Family House, Raphael House, Junior Giants, and more to Holiday Heroes. Proceeds support Diamond Dreams, a project to build the only regulation-size baseball field in East Palo Alto to learn, play, and prepare for high school baseball, teamwork, resilience, and goal setting. General Admission gates open at 5:30 p.m., with ticket options and family-friendly packages for different budgets.

December 11: Tidings, Tinsel + TETRA Holiday Makers Fair
5pm – 8pm
TETRA Hotel & AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park : 400 West Java Drive, Sunnyvale

TETRA’s holiday pop-up returns with 20 +small business owners and makers for a community-driven evening of shopping, food, and hot chocolate in a winter wonderland. Jingle and mingle through twinkling indoor/outdoor spaces. Adding sugar and spice with a performance by the Bay Area’s premier API drag troupe –Rice Rockettes.
We’re approaching our first full year hosting the Oasis Makers Fair – it’s been incredible to see the growth and interest from local business and attendees.

Dec 15: Serve Lunch with LifeMove in San Mateo
11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Please join in preparing and serving lunch for our friends at the San Mateo County Navigation Center, operated by LifeMove. Members of the LCC choir will lead us in Christmas caroling!

Dec. 15: Chanukah Village
12:00 – 2:00pm, Triangle Park, Portola Valley
Together with local shops and vendors, we’re transforming Portola Valley into a magical Chanukah destination. This event is open to Portola Valley and Woodside community. Bring your friends and neighbors to celebrate!
