For ten days this spring, the Peninsula restaurant scene is showing off.
Flavors of the Peninsula is less about “restaurant week” and more about what happens when chefs get a little extra room to play. From April 23 through May 3, a little over 100 kitchens across San Mateo County—from coastside salt-air seafood houses to Bayside urban hot spots—are stepping into the spotlight with menus that reflect who they are right now.

What’s Coming Out of the Kitchen
Instead of the usual greatest hits, many chefs are leaning into what’s fresh, what’s local, and what they’re excited about.
Expect:
- Hyper-seasonal ingredients at their peak
- Technique-driven dishes that don’t always make the regular menu
- Cultural mashups that define the Peninsula’s food identity
Prix-fixe menus and price points keep it accessible, whether you’re dropping in midday or settling in for a full evening:
- Lunch & Brunch: $25, $35, $40
- Dinner: $30, $45, $65, $80

Beyond the Plate
And the fun isn’t confined to just indoor dining. Breweries, wineries, and local spots are jumping in with their own events, while kickoff and finale gatherings frame the experience like opening and closing nights of a very edible performance. Make It Interactive (and Maybe Win Big)
Want to level up the experience? Grab the Bandwango Pass, a mobile-friendly way to explore participating restaurants, browse menus, and unlock offers throughout the event.
Even better—just by checking in at one participating restaurant, you’re automatically entered to win a seriously epic grand prize:
- Two tickets to a World Cup match (Paraguay vs. Australia, June 25, 2026)
- A one-night stay for two at a stylish Mountain View hotel
- A $200 AMEX gift card for good measure
Explore the Peninsula in a New Way
This event isn’t just about great meals (though there will be plenty). It’s a chance to explore the Peninsula in a new way—one neighborhood, one chef, one unforgettable bite at a time.
So bring your appetite, your curiosity, and maybe a few friends who don’t mind sharing.
Because for ten days, the Peninsula shines as a flavor-packed experience waiting to be tasted.
