Community Services Agency hosts Empty Bowls fundraiser
The Community Services Agency is planning to host its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at Rengstorff Park, 201 S. Rengstorff Ave.
The long-running community fundraising event was originally a soup supper, but morphed into “Sundaes on a Sunday” during the pandemic. Now in its fourth consecutive year as an outdoor ice cream sundae party, the event features bottomless Baskin Robbins ice cream and bowls made by the Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild.
Community Services Agency is a Mountain View-based nonprofit that provides safety net services, including food, emergency rent and utility assistance, support services for homeless residents and case management for local seniors.
Empty Bowls will take place in the park’s barbecue area on Crisanto Avenue. Tickets are $40 for adults, $30 for seniors and $10 for children. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit csacares.org/events.
