Nancy Mize filed to run for the Mountain View Whisman school board.

She did not respond to multiple interview requests and did not complete a Voice questionnaire

Mize’s candidate statement in the county voter information guide describes her as a 29-year resident of Mountain View whose children attended Mountain View Whisman schools.

She is a scientist in biotechnology and has experience coaching middle and high school students for college admissions, the statement says.

“My campaign has no political agenda. It is rooted in my experience as a parent, a coach for students, and as a PhD scientist professional,” the statement says. “I am committed to educational excellence, including critical thinking skills and motivated learning.”
