'Hell on Earth: A New Musical' premieres in Mountain View

The Young Actors Theatre Camp presents original new show

The Young Actors' Theatre Camp Founding Directors Shawn Ryan and John Ainsworth will premiere their new musical (starring 20 Bay Area teens) at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (Second Stage, 500 Castro St.), Nov. 15-17.

"Hell on Earth: A New Musical (About Middle School)" follows seven best friends as they join forces to survive the final days of middle school.

The show features book and lyrics by Ryan and music by Michael Sobie. Tickets are $28-38 and show times are 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15; 2:30 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16; and 1:30 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.

According to a representative from the production, Actor and comedian Jim O'Heir (best known from NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation") will make a special video appearance this weekend at the world premiere.
