It’s feeling downright festive in the 650. We’ve finally hit a mostly rain-free, springlike week with sunset past 7 p.m. That alone calls for a celebration.

Fortunately, the calendar is here to lend a hand. With St. Patrick’s Day coming up this Sunday, events are on tap for the entire weekend featuring traditional Irish food, drinks and live music plus less traditional conventions (green beer, anyone?). We’ve got your guide to the festivities in this week’s edition, plus a profile of a family that’s founded three Irish pubs on the Peninsula.
