Gas leak prompts mandatory evacuation of downtown Los Altos
A gas leak prompted the evacuation of downtown Los Altos on Monday morning, as emergency and utility crews worked to resolve the situation. As of 10:44 a.m., the city announced that PG&E had secured the gas leak, but that the public should continue to avoid the area.
