Do you ever find yourself scrolling around online when you stumble on images of a place that evokes your inner Liz Lemon from “30 Rock” saying, “I want to go there”?
That was my reaction as I sorted through our photographer Anna Hoch-Kenney’s pictures from a recent visit to Forever Bloom Farm, a 5-acre farm that grows nearly 300 varieties of flowers surrounded by a sea of trees. Flower varieties include everything from dahlias and cosmos to zinnias and strawflowers.
The farm is also home to a 24/7 farm stand stocked with flowers, home-baked goods and eggs, and it’s open for tours and workshops. Megan Brogdon interviewed owner Tammy Bloom to learn more about the regenerative, small-scale cut flower farm bursting with brightly colored blossoms.

This hidden San Mateo County flower farm has a 24-hour farm stand and weekly tours
Tammy Bloom is the unexpected but committed on-site steward of Forever Bloom Farm — a place where no two days, or strawflowers, look quite the same.
