Just in time for Mother’s Day we’re featuring a new restaurant group with eateries inspired by owner Elizabeth Truong’s children, including a recently opened brunch spot.

Elizabeth is the founder of Oishi Mirai Restaurant Group, a Los Gatos-based venture with three eateries — Breaking Dawn, a brunch restaurant serving elevated fusion versions of Elizabeth’s daughter Chloe Le’s favorites growing up, like pork belly fried rice and souffle pancakes — and two more restaurants opening next month at the same location. First Born, named for Elizabeth’s son Brandon Le, will focus on Vietnamese fusion dinner, and Burger Bots will serve burgers and sandwiches crafted by robots. Read about the new trio of restaurants and what Elizabeth hopes patrons will get from their experience in Adrienne Mitchel’s story.

Inside the new restaurant group bringing burger-making robots and Vietnamese fusion food to Los Gatos

Robots will soon be crafting juicy burgers and crispy chicken sandwiches next to a DJ mixing upbeat tunes inside a former historic bank in Los Gatos. For Oishi Mirai Restaurant Group founder Elizabeth Truong, the project is a significant step toward the legacy she hopes to leave behind.
