Police nab man with loaded gun after he allegedly tried to steal bicycle tires in Mountain View

A man attempting to steal bicycle tires outside an apartment complex was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm in public Wednesday morning, according to police.

He was likely steeling wheels with tires on them and not tires; getting the tire off the wheel is a bit more effort. That's because many people lock the frame and back wheel, but not the front wheel.
