The traffic lights at Alma Street and San Antonio Avenue are expected to be out Thursday due to a planned PG&E power outage, according to an alert from the Mountain View Police Department.

The intersection lies at the border of Mountain View and Palo Alto. The outage is expected to last until 5:30 p.m., according to the police department

When a traffic signal is flashing red or isn’t functioning, drivers are required to fully stop and then proceed with caution, according to the alert.

For more information, go to the PG&E outage website.

Correction: An initial version of this article listed an incorrect intersection with Alma Street. The intersection of Alma Street and San Antonio Avenue is affected by the outage. We regret the error.

  1. I’m afraid you still don’t have it right. There is no light at Alma and San Antonio. It’s an overpass/underpass situation.

    1. The outage is at the San Antonio Avenue intersection, not San Antonio Road. The San Antonio Avenue and Alma Street intersection does have traffic lights.
