PAMF provides free skin cancer screenings this Saturday

The Mountain View Center of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation will be hosting free skin cancer screenings this Saturday, May 10.

According to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, skin cancer is the most common of all of forms of cancer. More and more people are contracting skin cancer, the PAMF says, especially in sunny climates like ours. Finding skin cancer early is key to treating it, dermatologists say.

At the event, dermatologists from the Palo Alto Medical Foundation will provide free screenings, and information on skin cancer will be made available, as well as free sunscreen samples. The screenings will be made on a walk-in basis on Saturday, May 10 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

PAMF’s Mountain View Center, formerly the Camino Medical Group, is located at 701 E. El Camino Real. The Dermatology Department, where the screenings will be held, is on the third floor.
