A registered sex offender was arrested in Woodside on Wednesday night after allegedly exposing himself and making threats, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded around 8:45 p.m. to a home on Martin Lane after receiving reports of a man who was naked and threatening residents.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a man had parked his car outside of a residence and he was naked. A resident thought the man was a delivery driver, so approached him, but the suspect allegedly exposed himself and began yelling profanities.

A short time later, the resident again approached the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect allegedly threatened to shoot the resident.

Arrested was a 65-year-old Mountain View man who is a registered sex offender. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on suspicion of indecent exposure and making criminal threats.
