The global fast-casual food chain Shake Shake is slated to open a restaurant on San Antonio Road in Mountain View next week, marking its 17th Bay Area location.
The burger joint is scheduled to open its doors at 10 a.m. April 9, with the first batch of guests receiving tote bags, according to company spokesperson Kate DeMarco. The new location will be in the Village at San Antonio Center, 401 San Antonio Road, Suite 66-B.
“We’re thrilled that such a fun and popular business as Shake Shack is coming to Mountain View,” Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Peter Katz wrote in an email to the Voice. “It fits perfectly in the Village at San Antonio Center, which continues to be a growing, vibrant community gathering spot.”
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to the classics, the Shack will be serving the chain’s limited-time-only Clubhouse Pimento Cheese menu items, including a burger and chicken sandwich that feature a spin on the savory southern spread.
By the end of next week, Shake Shack – known for its smash burgers, thick milkshakes and crinkle cut fries – will have 52 eateries across California. This includes a recently opened location in Sunnyvale, which started serving meals this week.
