Theater: Pear Avenue presents “The Way of the World”
The Pear Avenue Theatre presents William Congreve’s “The Way of the World,” an English comedy about class, celebrity and dangerous liaisons first produced in 1700. Concert: “TEN” by Somei Yoshino Taiko Ensemble at MVCPA
Bay Area-based Somei Yoshino Taiko Ensemble performs its 10-year anniversary concert “TEN” at Mountain View Center for Performing Arts’ MainStage. The group, founded in 1999 and named after one of the most beautiful cherry blossom trees in Japan, explores and develops works that incorporate taiko Japanese drumming with other types of performance art.
