Exhibition: NASA Science and Technology Showcase at Civic Center Plaza
Learn about NASA’s missions to find water on the moon, study stars and detect Earth-like planets, as well as cutting-edge research and technology, at NASA Ames Research Center’s outdoor Science and Technology Showcase in Civic Center Plaza. Monday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free. The event will be followed by opening ceremonies for Space University, an international academic program located in Mountain View for the coming year. Civic Center Plaza is located at 500 Castro Street, Mountain View.
Performance: Open Mic Night at Red Rock
Red Rock Coffee’s Open Mic night happens every Monday from 7-10 p.m. Participants get 10 minutes — enough time for two songs, a few poems or a stand-up routine. Covers are fine, but original work is encouraged. Sign up at the cafe at 6:30 p.m. Red Rock is located at 201 Castro St.
