Broadcast: Televised launch of space shuttle Endeavour at NASA Ames
The public is invited to observe the live televised broadcast of the launch of space shuttle Endeavour in the Exploration Center at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field. Endeavour’s launch attempt is scheduled for 3:51 p.m. Pacific time on Monday, July 13. NASA TV coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. The Exploration Center will remain open until 30 minutes after launch. For up-to-the-minute information, visit www.nasa.gov/shuttle. To watch Endeavour’s launch online, tune in at www.nasa.gov/ntv. NASA Ames Research Center can be reached by the Moffett Field main gate. The Exploration Center is located in the large white dome.
Exhibit: “Our Valley’s Emotional Landscape” at CSMA
Local artist Robert Schick presents works on paper representing landscapes of the Mountain View and Los Altos area. At the Community School of Music and Arts’ Mohr Gallery, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. through July 26. Free, though donations are accepted.
