Community Event: Thursday Night Live on Castro Street
Castro Street will be closed to car traffic from Evelyn Avenue to Mercy Street to make way for Thursday Night Live, featuring dining, shopping, kids’ activities, a farmers market, a car show and live music by the the Jesse Charles Band. Thursday, July 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. The live music (part of the city’s 2009 Summer Concert Series) is 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Dana and Castro streets. After tonight, the final two Thursday Night Live events are Aug. 6 and Aug. 20.
