Exhibit: the NASA Exploration Experience at NASA Ames

The public is invited to come see “the Exploration Experience,” a traveling exhibit designed to demonstrate what it will be like to live and work on other worlds. The exhibit, located adjacent to Moffett Field’s Research Center (just outside the main gate at NASA Ames) is coming to NASA Ames on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only. It takes about 15 minutes to tour the exhibit, and the hours of operation are Wednesday, July 29, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Thursday, July 30, noon-8 p.m.; Friday, July 31, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Also at NASA Ames on Wednesday, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Glenn Room of Building 476 at NASA Research Park, chief technologist Creon Levit will discuss “ 100 of the coolest things happening now at NASA Ames Research Center.” These include hypersonics, nanotechnology, supercomputing and hybrid rockets.
