Talk: What’s Next for Mars Exploration? — part of the Space Panel Series at NASA Ames
The public is invited to join students of the International Space University for a series of “Space Panels” in July and August. On Wednesday, Aug. 5, a panel including scientists from JAXA, NASA and the European Space Agency will discuss the groundbreaking work of the late Gerold Soffen during the Viking missions to Mars in the mid-1970s, and explore plans for the next generation of Mars probes. Moderated by David Kendall, director of General Space Science, CSA. All panel discussions are from 8 to 9:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 9:30 to 10 p.m. Located in Building 943, Eagle Room at NASA Research Park, Moffett Field.
