Talk: “Lunar Science: From the NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI) to the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) and Beyond …” part of the Space Panel Series at NASA Ames

The public is invited to join students of the International Space University for a series of “Space Panels” in July and August. On Tuesday, Aug. 11, a panel of robotics engineers, lunar scientists and spacecraft flight directors will discuss current scientific investigation being done of, on and from the moon. All panel discussions are from 8 to 9:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 9:30 to 10 p.m. Located in Building 943, Eagle Room at NASA Research Park, Moffett Field.

Art: Rengstorff House Arts Festival

The Rengstorff House hosts this fine-arts show by local artists in mixed media, along with student works from the Arts in Action program at the Community School of Music and Arts.
