Outdoors: Pioneer Park Tree Walk
Learn about Mountain View’s urban forest at on educational walk for children and adults led by Mountain View Trees board members on Saturday, April 9, from 10-11:30 a.m. Free. Pioneer Park, 585 Franklin St., Mountain View.
Music: ‘DIY Musical Instrument Tailgate Party’
As part of the many events at Stanford University with visiting composer/inventor/sound sculptor Trimpin, a “DIY Musical Instrument Tailgate Party” is planned for Sunday, April 10, from noon to 4 p.m. in White Plaza. Trimpin will be “grand marshal” of the event, demonstrating some instruments he designed and mingling with the other instrument designers.
Wild Cat Adventure, an educational show featuring five live wild cats from around the world, is set for Sunday, April 10, at 2 p.m. Foothill College, Appreciation Hall, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills. Adults $10; children under 12 $5.
