With Martin Luther King Jr. Day coming up on Monday, Jan. 20, a number of local government offices and public services will be closed or operating on a more limited schedule.

Read on for a list of what will be affected in the Mountain View area.

City services

City of Mountain View: City Hall, as well as most city offices and facilities, will be closed on Monday. Emergency services will continue operating. For more information, visit mountainview.gov.

Mountain View Public Library: The library will be closed on Monday. For more information, visit library.mountainview.gov.

Transportation

Caltrain: Caltrain will be operating on a modified schedule on Monday. For more information, visit caltrain.com.

SamTrans: SamTrans will use its regular, non-school day schedule on Monday. For more information, visit samtrans.com.

Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority: VTA will be operating on its regular weekday schedule on Monday. For more information, visit vta.org.

Federal, state services

U.S. Postal Service: Post offices will be closed for retail transactions on Monday and regular mail won’t be delivered. For more information, visit usps.com.

Schools

Mountain View Whisman School District, Mountain View Los Altos High School District: Public schools in Mountain View will be closed on Monday.
