Tickets are now available for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show and concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

The yearly tradition will include a concert from the San Francisco Symphony, followed by a fireworks display.

A total of 2,000 free lawn seating tickets were set aside for Mountain View residents, and became available on May 31, with a limit of four per household. Mountain View residents can also buy discounted lawn and upper reserved tickets for $15 each, with a limit of eight per household. The discounted tickets can be purchased anytime before the event.

To get either free or discounted tickets, residents have to print and bring a coupon to the Shoreline Amphitheatre box office, along with proof of residency in the form of both a driver’s licence and a current utility bill with a Mountain View address.

The box office is located at One Amphitheatre Parkway and is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as starting at noon on event days.

There is also a $25 parking fee, which will be assessed on the night of the event, or can be purchased in advance at the box office or at shorelineamphitheatre.com. Bicycle parking will also be available.

Each year, some residents also opt to view the fireworks show for free from Shoreline Park, which is adjacent to the amphitheatre. The city’s website includes a map showing which areas of the park are approved and prohibited for fireworks viewing.
