A Mountain View woman was arrested on Tuesday morning for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the Dollar Tree parking lot after getting into an argument with him, according to the Mountain View Police Department.
Dispatchers received a call around 3:37 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, reporting a fight in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree Store at 199 E. Middlefield Road, police said.
Officers determined that the suspect, a 33-year-old transient, had stabbed her boyfriend once in the thigh and once in the left triceps with a two-inch folding knife after they had gotten into a verbal fight. She also punched him in the face, police said.
The boyfriend was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect fled the parking lot, but officers quickly located her in a nearby tent. She was arrested under suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and causing corporal injury to a cohabitant, police said.
The suspect was booked into San Jose Main Jail and is being held on $100,000 bail, according to county records.

“with non-threatening life injuries” should be “with non-life-threatening injuries”.
