Firefighters in Mountain View extinguished a small vegetation fire Friday night that broke out near the Adobe Creek Loop Trail.
The fire at the intersection of Terminal Boulevard and San Antonio Road was reported at about 10 p.m. on July 3, prompting a response by multiple engines and 10 firefighters, according to a statement from the Mountain View Fire Department.
The fire burned about a half-acre before firefighters stopped forward progress in about 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause was under investigation.
Mountain View Fire Chief Brian Jones reminded the public that all types of fireworks are prohibited in the city.
