Motorists on Highway 101 will experience lane closures as they travel through Menlo Park this upcoming weekend. Only one lane will be closed, according to Caltrans, but drivers may still experience traffic impacts and delays.
The closure will begin around 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, and last until around 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. The work this upcoming weekend will take place around the Marsh Road interchange. Caltrans and the city of Menlo Park anticipate that this interchange will be impacted by closures for the following two weekends as well, dependent on how the project progresses.
Caltrans and Menlo Park also anticipate that the Willow Road interchange will experience weekend lane closures for the first two weekends of September.

This lane closure is occurring as part of nine planned weekend lane closures that will take place to support faster construction on the State Highway Operation and Protection Plan along the busy 101 corridor. As part of this project, Caltrans is rehabilitating pavement along this section of Highway 101, upgrading the median barrier, replacing loop detectors, updating striping and installing new rumble strips and signage.
