The Friends of Deer Hollow Farm group is hosting tours of the city-run farm in Los Altos Hills, including of the farm’s many animals — rabbits, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and pigs — and a peek at what life was like in the region 150 years ago.
The tours will be offered on Saturday, May 17 and Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the last tour starting at 12:30 p.m. Tours are $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 2 and under.
These tours are fundraisers for the farm, with the funds used as scholarships for many of the children who attend this educational program. Trained docents lead the tours, and a short film is presented.
