Mountain View firefighters quickly put out a house fire at 918 Bonita Ave. on Monday afternoon and are still searching for the cause of the blaze.
The fire department received the March 2 call at around 3:36 p.m., and arrived to find the home had already been evacuated. But flames and black smoke rose from the roof and firefighters made an aggressive attack.
Property damage was minimized, but a damage estimate is not yet available. No injuries were reported.
