Each week the Voice heads to downtown Mountain View to ask people on the street a question. This week, we asked them what changes they would make to public transportation to improve service and encourage people to use it more often.

  1. THe vta lite rail is way too slow and is not a good choice. I was a vol at the Jazz fest in San Jose and got stranded in the middle of 1st street with no connecting bus service. It happened 2 nights in a row. I got home at 1 am in the morning. That is not good service to me. What do you think? I am a 7 year old Mountain View resident. I went to Mtn View high on Castro St in the 50s. The bus is full of very scarey people after 9 pm at night, They are sleeping on the bus and fighting and talking very loud on cell phones. Call if you need more info on this bad service.
